🚲 LEZYNE ABS Pen Gauge: The Ultimate Presta & Schrader Compatible Bicycle Hand Pump with ABS Flex Hose and Flip-Thread Chuck Review

I made a huge mistake and ordered a non-ABS version for my medium sized Lezyne pump. Sent it back and immediately bought ABS as I realized it's what I need. It works very well, light weight, compact and easy to use. While it doesn't bend as easily as standard flexible hose, the benefits of PSI/Bars easily outweigh this minor inconvenience. Reliable product and we highly recommend it.

Love that it still fits in a Lezyne hand pump. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it felt like it was leaking air from the display area the first time I used it. I later realized that this piece could unfold, detach, and allow air to escape. Once it's figured out I know, just to make sure it's bolted on tight. I love being able to check tire pressure on the go!

First impression: Purchased with Lezyne Road Drive Pump (Medium). It's a great replacement for the hose that comes with the Road Drive, for example, as it easily screws into the inside of the pump body and also onto the air side of the pump. the main tool attached at one end does not match the ABS sensor hose. Second, the gauge is set for 120psi, but the pump is good for 160psi. Neither bothers me, but YMMV. I inflated the tires to 100psi and checked the readings on a digital pressure gauge…

This gauge will at least give you an idea of when to stop pumping, rather than just guessing at a tiny hand pump. However, it is only accurate to within about 10psi. The pressure gauge tends to stick and then jump 5-10psi at a time, so I usually just keep pumping until it exceeds the minimum pressure I'm comfortable with (usually 60psi). Then I know that's about what I want without going too high. Good enough for most purposes. The measuring part seems to unscrew itself, so please tighten it…
