Works best with bike pumps

I chose this pump because it screws on and doesn't snap onto the valve stem. I have Joe Blow which works fine but the locking part is hard to engage and quite heavy for a Presta valve stem and I bent the stem to fit it. The bolt-on design makes it easy to install without damaging the valve stem. You need to unscrew quickly so as not to lose a lot of air when removing the nozzle. I inflate the tire a little more than necessary to avoid under-inflating the tire, knowing some air will leak out. It

Doubtful meter readings.

I inflated a road bike tire (Presta valve) to 110psi and then checked the tire pressure with an Accu-Gage Professional pressure gauge which read 100psi. I'm assuming the professional tire pressure gauge is correct, which makes me doubt the accuracy of the Lezyme pressure gauge built into the tire pump. It also rattles when I lift the pump. I can't determine where the knocking is coming from; probably either a pressure gauge or possibly an internal piston. I wonder if this is normal with Lezyme…

The best. BUT. for bicycle pumps

I buy a lot of pumps (I cycle for a living) and this is my favorite pump - durable, reliable. I have three. There are a few caveats: One of the reasons I like this pump is that the head screws onto the tire valve thread. Compare this to many other pumps where you push on the head and then lift the lever to lock it in place. I prefer the bolt on method, but not everyone does that. Tubes with extended valve stems are used for deep cup rims. Some (not all) of these long stems are unthreaded, so…

Wow! Better than I expected.

I don't normally give 5 stars, but the quality and functionality of this pump was immediately apparent. I'm not rating durability in this review because I've just started using these pumps. I ordered my second pump right after the first use as the quality was very evident after the first use. It was almost fun pumping up some flat tires on my lawnmower. Bikes are the least important use I will have for these pumps. My main use is to turn on an air compressor because they are so efficient and…

Easily attaches to the valve and stays attached!

My old floor pump had a lever mount where you press it against the valve stem and at the same time lift the lever to press it against the valve stem. This is not easy and often comes loose from the valve stem before you have inflated the tire to the desired pressure. After years of this nonsense, I decided to look for a better method. I looked around and found a Lezyne floor pump. It screws SIMPLY with a stable, safe and defined connection. He STAYS ON! The air hose is longer than my old one…
