I bought this 5K monitor for my new Mac Studio. I ordered a studio display, but it arrived right after delivery. Not smart, Apple. I sent it back for a refund and ordered it straight away. It just works - easy setup, easy connection, happy user!

First, a jagged line of pixels that runs down the center of the screen appears and disappears. The big problem is that after 8 months the display completely stopped working. It charges but nothing shows on the screen - just a dead black screen. Swapping cables, laptops, outlets, etc. didn't help, it's a problem with the monitor. LG is the absolute WORST. I've spent 2 weeks on the phone with customer support with no progress even though this thousand dollar broken product is still fully covered…

The image on it is as bright and beautiful as I was hoping for! Worked perfectly on my 2019 16" MacBook Pro and to my surprise on my 2015 MacBook Pro (with Thunderbolt 2-3 adapter). The only real downsides are the lack of ports (only 3 USB-C?) and the glossy screen. A matte screen and/or gigabit ethernet, multiple USB-A ports, maybe an audio out would have boosted this to 5 stars. although it's actually the same monitor as a few years ago).

To be honest I'm not sure I received a *brand new* product. Everything appears to be in place and well polished but the box it came in was open. When I peel off the tape covering the product packaging, there is quite a bit of lint and dirt on the sticky side. Inside foam packaging. the box is dirty as if it had been dragged across the floor. Believe me, this is the best monitor I have ever had! Apart from the fantastic image quality, it climbs quite high, which is rare. I'm 6ft 3" and with my previous monitors I had to either buy an extra stand or put some books under the monitor. This one is big enough for tall people like me.

I'm so glad I did a little research for a second monitor for a MacBook. The connection took less than a minute. I was shocked. I only use it for a second monitor, mainly for work, but the colors/graphics are amazing. This is an expensive monitor so I see it as an investment. Also, I used my Revain VISA which allowed me to split it up for 18 months with no interest so I think it's worth it.

Aside from the hesitation, it sounds wonderful. Unless you have a SUPER solid desk, you may experience screen tremors while typing.

I took the plunge with my new M1 MAC Mini and purchased this monitor. The cost is high for me as I'm used to monitors in the sub $500 range. But once you set your sights on 5K, you won't want to go back to the pixelated past. Text now looks more like a typewriter on paper, rather than characters with jagged edges. Video playback is excellent and colors are very accurate. I'm not a gamer so I can't talk about last wishes like "I want 120 fps and I want it now".

My iMac monitor died and I didn't want to spend money on a new one. This LG works great with my iMac and the picture is fantastic. Arrived well packaged, insured against breakage. I'm a happy two-screen woman!

I've placed 154 orders in the last six months. Based on my experience/trust me, every time they put something up for sale it means they have some kind of returned product that needs to be disposed of. The first one Revain sent me was definitely used. Found a few scratches on the case. There are also a lot of fingerprints or scratches on the panel (I can't tell if it's just fingerprints or damage). This is my second LG monitor from Apple - an upgrade of the first (I have one at work and needed it at home during self-isolation). This guy was an amazing asset to my life. I used to only roam the land of the 24 in 4k, but once I decided to go a little bigger and worse, I really regret that I originally bought the same 24-inch LG monitor for Mac. Now I want it very much in my sense, I found this deal too early that would have ruined my penultimate bad buy. If you've read this far, you have way too much free time. :) lol.

The image quality on the monitor is good, but sometimes there is a "split/shifted" screen in the middle on a MacBook Pro. Unplug the power cord (since there is no power switch) and plug it back in to resolve the issue. However, this is a very lousy way to reboot and use this $1,000+ monitor. A few months later I ordered a 32 inch Dell S3221SQ monitor (from Revain) for less than half the price of this LG monitor and it performs as well if not better and also has a larger screen. I really like the quality of the monitor and the USB-C ports. Overall very happy with it. One gripe, however, is that the stand itself is very wobbly. I see the monitor shaking. It's a little annoying, but not a deal breaker, but would happily pay an extra $50 for a better quality stand.

Just unbelievable. Remarkable quality. A bit of a hassle to match the colors to the iMac Pro, but worth the effort. A small downside is the slightly preserved audio quality from the speakers and the very slightly overexposed camera, but 99.9% of people won't even notice. I'm a multimedia guy so what do I do.

I use this monitor as the main monitor for my Macbook Pro. The included Lightning connector cable is the only cable required to use the display and charge your Mac battery. Image quality is excellent and calibration was easy. There's less real estate than I wanted (I mostly edit digital photos), but I couldn't spend more than $6,000 on an Apple Pro Display XDR. I've been using the monitor for about a month and I'm very satisfied.
