A very nice upgrade over my 8 year old 22" monitor. Both were 1080p but the LG 27MP59G's color, contrast, black levels and overall picture quality have all improved a lot. It feels very durable and well built though it's very light.The only problem I've had so far is my computer keeps switching the audio output device from my default 2.1 speakers to the monitor's built-in speakers.I've tried resetting it in the settings but still no Sound.I even tried going into device manager and turning off…

Received the monitor a few days after ordering. After taking it out of the box it was easy to set up and started working right away. Does not require use of included disc. Looks great and was a great purchase.

It is very suitable as a second monitor. With the right image/video, vertical lines become very noticeable from time to time.

I was looking for a 27 inch monitor for my home office that would do double duty with my system for light gaming. This monitor exceeded my expectations, especially for the price I was able to buy it for. Highly recommended if you are looking for a reliable 27 inch computer monitor.

I needed a monitor for my new gaming PC that I could also use for photo editing, and this one was just what I needed. It was hard to find an IPS monitor that was good for gaming but reasonably priced, but then I found this one. It's obviously not the best for any of the functions I need it for, but it works both reasonably well and with no issues. Good price for a product.

I love the 27 inch monitor! With an IPS display, the viewing angle is not an issue. Gaming on this monitor is a pleasure thanks to its 1ms response time. You will always be ahead! I also like the built in crosshair program on the monitor, you don't have to aim.

Probably the best monitor for the price. It has all the specs I need for my purpose (not a gamer, just content creation and photo editing) and it looks great too. I like the red line around the stand. stylish. So far I haven't had any problems. Just make sure the monitor is connected to the graphics card using a Displayport cable and not HDMI. You will see a noticeable difference in video quality.

This monitor works great! Great price for great quality, there's even an audio jack so I can use my speakers with a DisplayPort cable. However, I wish there were easier modes for brightness and such, and some game modes are only good for very bright games.

Great monitor for gaming. Has many customization options like different game mode color options and motion blur settings. The 75Hz refresh rate combined with free sync also works really well and keeps games looking great with virtually no tearing. I don't play with him, I do my homework with him. It is connected to my MacBook Air. Works well but wish it had a VESA mount option. That would be cool. But then it would probably cost a lot more than $$$. In any case, the mounting leg looks sketchy but works "well". The monitor is great for those working on their masters program as a student, the picture is clear and looks good.

That's great. As usual with IPS, the great viewing angles and colors are far superior to TN, although it's still such a budget thing. Best of all, I can definitely play this above 144Hz if I really have to because it looks so beautiful.

A high Response Time setting causes every object in the game to have a white halo effect. It's also a little wobbly. ‎10.8 pounds.

Bought in 2018, it is now outdated, but since 2000 the color quality has gradually deteriorated. Strangely, it doesn't dim, but it loses dark hues and shifts all colors toward mid-orange. Now it comes down to adjustment (maximum contrast, reduced brightness and color transitions weren't enough. So bought a replacement (not LG this time).
