Bought in 2018, it is now outdated, but since 2000 the color quality has gradually deteriorated. Strangely, it doesn't dim, but it loses dark hues and shifts all colors toward mid-orange. This is a great looking monitor. The colors outside of the box are top notch. I have set the cinema mode and am very impressed. Bought to replace a 6 year old 21" LG monitor. I decided it was time for an upgrade and the price of this new gaming monitor was 20% lower than what I paid for the smaller LG. Color and clarity have improved significantly. compared to the old device. The only issue was adjusting the screen of some game settings to fit properly. Some buttons were completely off screen.
