The design of this monitor is very nice and the stand is good. I like that the ports are on the stand and not on the back of the monitor. This is the only reason there were 2 runs. However, the image quality is abysmal. I may have caught a bad block, but I have nothing to compare. Also, the image looked very cold (bluish) on the "warm" setting. The picture quality will be zero stars. I am returning this item to the Circuit City where it was purchased (via Revain).

I bought this to upgrade the 23 LCD screen I have and be able to run two monitors on my desk. Let me just say I was expecting a little difference between the 2nd but nothing like what I got. This is a wonderful monitor - the screen has beautiful and vibrant colors and the monitor itself has a sleek black finish and a beautiful design. Sorry to break all the good reviews here but be careful ordering through Circuit City as my monitor arrived broken. I spent over an hour trying to make sure it wasn't the driver and then another hour on LG's hotline (good service though not 24/7) who walked me through a factory reset to confirm, that the monitor was defective. Lots of time and hassle as I now have to do the return process. Maybe just a data point, but a bad one.

A simple, out-of-the-box setup that doesn't require much customization, and those that do are fairly intuitive. Attractive base with minimal space requirement. Dark blacks and rich colors that don't overwhelm the fake. Not too big for word processing and web browsing, but big enough and beautiful enough for gaming and movie streaming.
