This basket is good except for one. It does not dry out completely, which in turn leaves wet cutlery in places. When you take them out of the washing machine and place them on the countertop, puddles of water will form. It's a little annoying, but on the other hand. I thought after some use it would stop, but after a month of use it didn't.

For now I will never buy a LG dishwasher again. This basket is exactly what we need. Since I bought our dishwasher 2 years ago I have replaced the cutlery basket and motor twice. From the looks of it, LG isn't the reliable brand I was expecting, and that goes for the cutlery basket. this is our third and it's holding up well (most importantly, it fits).

When our LG dishwasher's factory cutlery drawer finally stopped holding cutlery and some didn't fall on the floor, I was ready to try something myself to fix the problem. Before I did that, like I always do, I looked at Revain and it was there. The dishwasher still works well and we like it a lot and wanted to keep it. This replacement shell fits perfectly and works great. I recommend it.

Taking off a star because it still annoys me that the LG dishwasher doesn't have the correct dishwasher mount - the holes in the der Bottom was too big - dishes fell through - knives were impossible - although I complained to LG from the start - they never did anything to fix the situation. Much happier with this replacement - but would be happier if LG replaced a defective item

Wow. This is a poorly designed and downright shabby product. I will list his problems that I noticed in the first 2 minutes. 1) It consists of 3 separate sections that you assemble by inserting and sliding tabs. There is no reliable lock to prevent them from slipping back. Don't trust that thing when you pull it out full of cutlery. 2) The handle will not stay in place (again without a secure latch) when slid into position unless the center section cover is closed. The original basket that came with our LG dishwasher fell apart. This basket is much better designed and much stronger than LG's. I like that the dividers keep the cutlery in line and apart for better tidying. The plastic on this basket is stronger and there are fewer holes in the bottom of the basket than the original LG model, so dishes don't fall out and hit the bottom of the dishwasher. Purchased to replace the flatware that came with the LG dishwasher. The thing was junk - there were holes in the bottom through which cutlery slid. This one has a tighter weave at the bottom of the tray. It's heavier and maybe a hair's breadth bigger. I'm not sure I understand the meaning of three interconnected sections. I put it back together but it kept falling apart so I assumed it was damaged in transit and sent it back.
