Works well with my US and UK formatted DVDs. I have a few DVDs of 80's TV shows and while they don't upgrade to 1080p, the resolution improves and the show is more vivid. Excellent goods. Easy to use.

Very glad it works great! Now I can buy films in other formats to take home that are hard to find online! I've bought foreign format DVDs that play great. It takes a little effort to play foreign Blu-rays, but if you include a guide, it will be easy!

record player was not packed in bubble wrap/cushioned box. Instead, it was shipped in its own box. If you tilt the player in the box, something will move. The player does not display video on the TV regardless of the selected mode. Only the menu screen is displayed and the screen turns black after you select one of the options.

To change the Blu-ray region, turn off the power switch and press number 1, 2 or 3 depending on which region you want to use next. At least these are the instructions that came with my player, responsive and thin, petite. The remote control is small; Even my little fingers can miss the keys. [minor problem]

I'm getting it back less than a day after unboxing it. Hard drives are good, but streaming apps are terrible. Hulu will only run successfully on maybe 1 out of 3 attempts, even when I launch the player, a critical error occurs about every 30-40 minutes and the app needs to be closed. Having ordered this FOUR TIMES I can tell you what to avoid. Order"used". for less than $40 off the shelf and you get a battered box marked BP35. Neither the packaging nor the documents inside (if any) say anything about this being a region 🆓. Because it isn't.
