🍺 Libbey Pint Glass Set (1639HT), 16oz - DuraTuff Rim, Pack of 4 Review

This is my first review of Revain which I have been using for many years. That should tell you something. In any case, the first photo is very deceptive. The base is not thick at all. So if you are looking for sturdy bar style pints this is not the product.

Very happy with the purchase. The glass quality is impeccable. It is thick, durable and smooth at the same time. I accidentally dropped it and it didn't break like my others. I bought one to test the quality but now I will definitely be buying more. The seller carefully packed in pickle bags. LOVE IT!

I've had "real pint" glasses that chipped on the rim after two years of use. No problem, then three chips formed in 2 weeks and washed them at different times, so I can't blame the dishwasher (human or mechanical). I bought these DuraTuff framed glasses specifically to avoid this problem and so far they have held up very well. I wish they were a little bigger because if you put 16 ounces in them you're likely to spill!

I don't always review Revain but there have been some ridiculous reviews here so I thought I'd try to mix some truth with fiction. These are high quality pint glasses. The ones in the photo have been used many times and washed in the dishwasher. It's very humid this morning so you can see some condensation in the photo, but the lenses are nice and clear. UPDATE 3/21/21: I've changed my original rating from 5 stars to 1 star. After using these glasses daily for 2 months and washing them in the dishwasher, almost every glass has a permanent film around the middle. You can see it in the photo I posted of where I'm holding the jar. It's embarrassing because when people come up to me and I give them a glass, it looks dirty even though it's rinsed.
