Replacing the entire case is not easy. Very easy to access and just replace the bulb. I had to pry the latches on the regular body to pull it out as there wasn't enough room with my hands without removing the bumper. Just buy LED bulbs.

VERY bright. It can be half power. It's designed to plug into an actual light socket like replacement bulbs, except the plug doesn't fit very well. I had to cut the socket off of one and attach it with wire. If your Ram has a hitch, the little clip you pull behind the bumper is a real problem.

Just installed (2014 RAM) and mostly plug and play. If you have a receiver, the bracket (shown in the pictures) that holds the lamp mount is a bit difficult to get out (limited space). Sprayed with wd40, waited a few seconds and removed. I noticed that the wires that went into the socket were "reversed", I had to flip the wires to the other side for metal to metal contact.
