I don't know how everyone else feels, but LED spotlights (floodlights) simply dim poorly. I revert to regular flooding for these applications. Otherwise, I'm for LEDs as the energy savings are significant.
GE sold those horrible lightbulbs and vastly improved its competing line of 'relaxing' lamps. Half of them barely survived two years with moderate use. The excitement of years 2 and 3 made everyone hate them. It was such a waste of time and effort to change them. Very bad quality.
