One of the lights stays on even when there is no movement. I can see through a crack in the door that it turns on for about 10 seconds about every 30 seconds and then turns off. 30 seconds later it works again. Literally no movement in the closet. Batteries burn like crazy at this rate. I will try to contact the seller but not optimistic as they are made abroad.

I first installed the lamp on a magnetic base in a cupboard with a self-adhesive strip and after about a day it stopped glowing. I reattached it with special double sided tape which is very strong and fell off after about a day. I ended up scraping the surface of the self-adhesive backing and rubbing rubbing alcohol on it, and it stayed attached to the blanket with double-sided tape underneath. I really wanted to love these lamps but my closet doesn't have motion detection. If I set them to "auto" they just stay on. I tried playing around with the sensors, first pointing them at the closet and then at the room. One of them will reach the timeout point, only to return immediately. The other just stays.
