It looks like it's working fine.

Well designed and easy to install in the coaxial line. Add a ground wire and you're done. I hope I never have a lightning bolt that tests him, but I'm ready. Worth the price to be sure of the lightning protection it offers.

Pros
  • ⚡ Easy to Install - This PL259 lightning rod with UHF sockets on both sides is easy to install with a coaxial cable.
Cons
  • So-so

Good workmanship and quality

Was impressed with the good workmanship and finish of the product given the very competitive price. Removed the gas pipe element and that seems normal too. I won't know the operational aspects until the element is shorted, but hopefully that never happens. It's like insurance. You should have them, but I hope you never have to use them.

Pros
  • ⚡Application - Great UHF lightning protection solution for amateur radio, CB radio, two-way base stations and other low frequency antennas.
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
