The product looks good, there is sound and charging. There is so much static and noise when you plug it in. Engine noise is also present. I've tried both with the same result. I will not buy again.

Doesn't work on iPhone 8 or 7 with iOS update. I ignored all the reviews saying it doesn't work and trusted those that say it does. Cheap Chinese junk. Don't waste your time or money. Spend $30 and buy a legit one.

This item was purchased to replace an Apple replacement. Out of the box I am very disappointed. It keeps disconnecting from the headphones and it's very annoying. I recommend buying the Apple version. They're more expensive, but you won't be disappointed.

Although this device works I wouldn't say it works well. The charging and sound functions work simultaneously, but there's an awful electrical click and buzz in the sound. I'm not a music lover, so it's impossible to listen to music. Note: Click/hum occurs with or without power.

The device wouldn't start charging my iPhone 7 when it was plugged in and when I moved it (cleanly I might add) it broke and is now unusable. Super fragile design. It's not worth a price. I would add a photo but it doesn't show how the item broke. The connection to the phone is loose as a loose tooth and won't charge my phone.

It's too cheap to return but I wasn't particularly impressed. I bought it because there were enough positive reviews to believe it wasn't junk. I was wrong. Even when I manage to fully plug the earbud into the jack (which is rare), the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Honestly I don't recommend this product. Immediately after using it, I had problems with buzzing/humming in the sound. It got worse over time and shut off completely and I use this cord cautiously in the car while my phone is on the dash. The tip is flexible and allows for too much movement, it is filled with rubber and plastic which makes it easy to fail. That's what happened with cable #1, I'll try to use cable #2.
