Just what I expected, easy to unwind and put batteries in. They emit a beautiful soft white light and look great in the fall foliage.

Used in my Halloween haunted house this year and thought I could use a lot as they are battery operated. I received a large amount. They are very bright for battery powered flashlights. Worked great in many areas of our haunted house :)

These lights are perfect for whatever you want to use them for. They run on 2 AA batteries and have an on/off switch so you don't have to worry about plugging them into a cellphone and when you're ready to turn it off, just press the switch. Very comfortable and very bright and when the batteries run out the light is not that bright which alerts you to change the batteries.

I used these lamps to decorate the topiary at the front of the house. Luckily I only needed 4 sets so the two that didn't catch fire weren't a problem for me. My only annoyance was that a third of the lights didn't work. As for size, I have two 36ft ball-shape topiaries and I used two sets of each, so you can go for the longer size if your goal is to cover anything over 3ft. Color/Lightness: They are less soft whites and more white. They are bright at night but barely visible during the day.

The lights were just what I was looking for in terms of length and brightness to light up my tanning rings. However, 4 were defective and could not be used. Two had this odd plug connection and about 2 feet of wire at the start of the filament with no bulbs, but it didn't matter because none of the lights worked due to the odd connection. One had no coating on the wires and one had a broken piece of plastic on the side of the battery where you turn it on and off. I didn't see the remote control

I think it's just the influence of the last two years, but this year I've really gotten into decorating - more than usual.
