Bought a Linear 2534 Channel Plus 4-way combine.

Bought a Linear 2534 Channel Plus 4-Way to combine an internal antenna with an external one! That does not work. I have fewer channels none of which are picked up by the internal antenna itself, nor are all channels picked up by the external antenna alone. So in my case the signals are not merged.

Seems to attenuate antenna signals

I bought this unit thinking I could combine multiple HD antennas and get a powerful output. I couldn't complete it at all. All it does is attenuate the signal from whatever antenna I connect to it. Maybe it works for other purposes, but I couldn't get it to work for this purpose. I'm wondering if there's anything else I could use to get better results.

Pros
  • AV Accessory
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

It's great if you have 2-3 antennas with an amplifier.

This solved the problem - but not quite sure why you're getting such signal loss - that I had to use boosted antennas. I had to readjust both/all 3 antennas a bit, but it helped. I live in a 2nd floor suburban apartment in King Co. WA (Seattle) 25 miles from TV towers surrounded by tall trees and other apartment buildings. The second output works just as well for a second TV. I am very glad that I solved this problem.

I bought this product thinking I could combine multiple HD antennas and get strong performance. I couldn't complete it at all. All it does is attenuate the signal from whatever antenna I connect to it. Maybe it works for other purposes, but I couldn't get it to work for this purpose. Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Strongly disappointed.

Unfortunately, the Linear 2534 Channel Plus 4-Way Splitter/Combiner didn't work at all with my mother's digital TV (she has 2). I have to admit that the signal around them is very, very bad. But I read reviews that this and other similar products helped a lot even in very poor signal areas. But that didn't help at all! Even when I connected THREE antennas to this device, it still couldn't do anything and didn't do anything.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
