Type of review

The video quality is good, but the sound always seems a bit clipped. If you don't need sound, everything is fine. Always seems to want to give me 1080 even though the original video is 720. I keep it as a backup.

EXCELLENT EXTERNAL PLUG-N-PLAY CAPTURE CARD

This is a great external device for a capture card. Got this for my church live stream to bring videos from our presentation computer. This device is plug and play and requires no Mac or PC drivers. He was constantly working on a 2019 iMac with Wirecast. Also works on PC with VMix and OBS. The build is solid, backward compatible with 2.0. I used it with an old 2011 MacBook Pro. 4K isn't a thing, stripes of text and some flicker at 60fps

I've decided to use it on my workstation with additional computers or devices I'm testing through your PC. I use OBS to "record" devices and use my computer monitor as the display for the device I'm testing. This way I can easily test things or manage additional PCs (along with KVM switches) without actually changing any of my monitors and losing the entire 4K monitor.
