Bought new 13 months ago. The first set lasted 5 months, then they stopped charging. I contacted the retailer and they sent a replacement. Now after 6 months the second set does not turn on. The speakers don't sit deep enough in the LS2 helmet and are uncomfortable. I had to cut some foam out of the helmet to put them back on so they were comfortable. Spend money on Shoei with integrated Sena.

I used this Sena system with a brand new LS2 helmet which is recommended for this helmet. I ride motorcycles. I thought it would be very different than what it was. This is expensive junk. I can't update the firmware with your application because the device was not found. Installation is not difficult once you know how to remove the padding from the helmet. As other users say, this product was designed primarily as an intercom and all other functions were secondary. Installation is a major pain and requires you to remove all padding from your helmet. If you have a full face helmet, good luck holding the wires in place while you put the padding back in place. Great product; but an epic bug on the charging port. This product is really good as it matches the OEM helmet. Sound quality is great, fit is great, features are pretty good. But the real sensation here is the charging connection. It is almost impossible to remove the rubber plug from the charging port without tweezers, the rubber plug also blocks the charging cable's access to the charging port. Bluetooth communication system is ok. However, for $200 you expect more features like at least Bluetooth 4 and better support, so you're definitely paying more for OEM compliance. The included instructions do not provide any information on how to install it on your helmet, but that's only because it can be used on many different helmets.
