Works great on my 1700 sqm. ft.

So easy to set up and replace my cable company's $5 router. Even though the router was part of the internet, phone and cable in the same box, they disabled part of the router and saved me a ton of money for years to come. Now it remains only to try to learn how to cut the cable on the next cable :)

Pros
  • Perfect for the outdoors
Cons
  • Some issues

Good toy for routers

I am planning to boost the wifi for wireless security cameras so the signal will be stronger. Also better signal throughout the house.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Only available in black

So far so good in Computers & Accessories

There was a Netgear router that broke after 13 months with a 12 month warranty. I called the service and they wanted me to pay more than this router so they bought it. So far so good, we'll see in a year.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Bad experience

Works well for a small apartment!

For a small apartment, the router works quite well! It offers a dual-band signal with both 2.4 and 5GHz signals, but has a bit of a problem getting around walls. However, it serves its purpose!

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great router for the price.

This is great for my small 3 bedroom house. It's in the garage and every room has a decent signal. For the price, this router is great. I only have a 25Mbps connection so can't comment on how well it handles the higher bandwidth, but I'm very happy with this inexpensive router. A+

No light, easy setup, easy interface

After receiving the (updated) device, I opened the box. Inside was a box, two antennas, a power adapter, a CAT5e cable, and instructions. I've set up many WiFi hotspots in the past, but I ignored the instructions and just got down to business. I connected the ethernet cables properly and then connected the power supply. To my surprise there was no light. At first I wondered if the device was getting power, but then I saw the lights on the Ethernet ports come on. Talk about smooth. To give it a…

Died after 3 months

This is a review of the Linksys EA5800 AC1000 Dual Band Wi-Fi Smart Router with Fast Ethernet Ports and USB 2.0 Port. This has been "updated" by Venturely Labs. He died immediately after the return window closed. I paid a lot for this router. Used routers from Revain Warehouse are much cheaper than Venturely Labs.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Neutral

Don't waste money!

Literally the biggest piece of shit I've ever bought. It stopped working within a few months and has since ended up in the trash where it belongs. Sometimes cheaper is not profitable. If you're having trouble finding a good one and can't afford it, go to eBay or the market. Don't waste money on it. Would literally give zero stars if possible.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Not sure
