There seems to be a lot of reviews where some say it is true to size and some say it runs small. Our experience shows that it rarely works. In fact we went from a size 11 on another brand to a size 12 and they were no bigger than a 11. My daughter just went up to a size 12 and this size 12 barely fits her. I have ordered 3 different sizes due to conflicting reviews. I'm here to inform you that my daughter (usual size 8) needed a half size up from her normal street shoe size. So a size 4.5 fits her normal height of 4 feet. I did NOT use the measurements in the size chart. I would also like to say that because it's half the size, we also have some room to grow.
