This TV stand works as intended. Don't listen to those who complain that it's not strong or that it's difficult to move and it falls; You just need to understand that it unfolds like a stand for a waiter jack, you need to be careful when moving it. The only thing I don't like is that the surface of the table is laminated and immediately started peeling. I was hoping it would actually be bamboo like the rest of the build.

I would rate reliability a 5 but I was missing a screw that didn't appear to be there. I was still able to use them (only one had an issue) and they are made for board games and hold very heavy books etc. Put my own screw in and seem extremely durable. I could probably send it back but figured I could fix it. Most likely a production error. If you want long-lasting portable tables with some durability: I recommend these.

has a nice finish but is functionally awful, nothing to secure when unfolded. picking it up on the wrong long side, the thing snapped onto my fingers. I have to wrap my fingers around the bottom of the sliding piece to lift it in order to move it. Guests should be warned before moving it, they will end up dropping snacks on the floor and injuring their fingers when the push bar clicks. Terribly useless these need to go back

It's hard to find a tray with a rim. In my family, lots of spilled drinks (kids, dogs, cats, and clumsy parents) make clean-up easier. I'd rather just clean the table than steam clean the carpet. These tables are very well made and I love bamboo - a sustainable resource. I highly recommend these bowls. Update - I've had the tablets for 2 months now. They're still going strong, but the shell's top coating is peeling off. It looks dirty even after I wash it. This is definitely disappointing.

My recommendation? DO NOT buy this! I am very disappointed in the quality and functionality. I was so excited when I found these tables. Let's face it. This is meant to be a "bamboo" tray table and yes there is some bamboo in the design. The tables are very cheaply made. The table top is NOT actually bamboo but a chipboard material made to look like bamboo.
