Plant Lifter Quick Release Pins

Extremely easy installation. At first it didn't seem like the bolts and pins were long enough (2" landing jack tube), but once you attach a nut, the brackets tighten around the tube.

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Some Cons

shear pin scissors. inferior material.

The pin has sheared off on the inside and is preventing the kickstand from moving. I had to punch and pop and jack myself up to get my foot to a place where I could pull out a needle that was stuck in my foot.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • A few minor things

Worked on our 1995 Shasta on a fifth wheel.

I ordered these to replace the ones we had (which broke), we've used them a few times and they've held up. My husband and 9 year old son were able to install them with a little wiggling and they fit great.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No

Direct replacement, easy installation!

This was a simple direct replacement for the original assemblies on my Cedar Creek trailer. The locking pins on these appear to be about a quarter inch longer than the original and it feels easy to tell they're fully locked!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Slightly torn

It fits perfectly until assembled

I was wary at first because when I measure the leg width it shows a width of 2 1/4" (outer leg is there, where those clamps are and the inside leg 2". It fit perfectly and before fitting I compared it to the plastic I bought and then I knew everything would be fine. The clamps aren't that strong , so you must be careful when tightening the nut, only time will tell how well it will last.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Better than New - Clutch Locks

Better than new. These are the same brand my 3 year old trailer came with but they have been altered or are just crap. The ones I had before had too few pins. One pin went flush into the opposite hole in the leg, one pin was only about 1.5 inches long and didn't reach the second hole in the leg. The new ones go through the first and second holes in the chassis legs and stick out about 1/2" to 3/4" so you can see they are in place. Very happy!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Exchangeable

Replaced OEM units on my 2010 Pinnacle.

Used to replace an OEM component on my 2010 Pinnacle fifth wheel that had a broken spring. They weren't identical to the OEM part, but they were very close and worked as they should. I tried fitting them with an SAE socket but it was very tight and I found a metric socket (10mm I think) worked better. I just installed them but I see no reason why they shouldn't last as long or longer than OEM parts.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • So far so good

Great addition to our fifth wheel

Great addition to our fifth wheel. Makes setting your feet much easier and faster. The only problem I have is that you have to make sure the pin goes all the way through both holes. If you are too lazy and just pull the pin and then put it in the first hole, it may not fit properly in the opposite hole. This mistake will stress the pin too much since it will only go through one of the two holes. A simple squeeze of the handle will set the pen as the spring isn't strong enough to push through.

  • Certified

Fits perfectly on the front legs of my 7000 pound fifth wheel

My wife and I used to have trouble aligning the pins with their holes in the front legs of our fifth wheel jack. But they don't need to be aligned - insert them, tighten the bolts/nuts and they will automatically align with the holes in the posts. They have springs that they automatically insert into the stand's holes and that will make life a lot easier. No more bending over or sitting on the floor trying to align the post pins with the holes on either side. Now I just set it and forget it…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • There are imperfections
