There are many tea infuser on the internet. I chose this one because the flower shaped holder was attractive. I was happy to see that the metal basket came out of the flower to keep the tea leaves from getting stuck over time.

I just LOVE this teapot! The tea strainer itself is quite large, giving the tea leaves plenty of room to expand, and the holes are small to keep the tea leaves from spilling out into the cup. I like the rim because I don't burn my fingers when I take it out of the cup. And I like the lid that keeps the tea hot while brewing. Definitely a good buy!

Excellent purchase! The fine mesh prevented ALL types of coffee from getting into my cup! Win! The flower on the top rim matched my EDGE wide neck mug, preventing a strainer that was too deep and protecting my fingers from the heat. Win! When I'm done, the center of the flower is left for the strainer. Win! So perfect! It stood out from the rest on Revain and was a great choice! You can't go wrong with this! I might even get one for free.

I like that the petals don't get hot when brewing the tea. It's easy to remove. I also like that the heat shield becomes a drain for wet leaves. It seems to work pretty well, only the tiniest hairs on the herbs go through the holes. It's stained from soaking, and as I try to drain all the liquid from the basket, drops of steam drip from the petals onto my table. I can't stop it no matter what I do.
