Description of Lisle 19860 Tire Deflator

Simply replace a standard sized valve cap with this handy tool and the special design will depress the pin in the valve tool and the special design will depress the pin in the valve core. Tools are marked so tires can be returned to their original position on the vehicle so TPMS will not need to be reset. Large openings on the sides of the tool allow air to escape quickly from the tire. Also saves time since the valve core has not been removed from the sensor.

They work absolutely FANTASTIC!

I am an aircraft mechanic on company aircraft. Before I take a wheel off, I have to deflate the tires, which sometimes reach 230psi. Using a tool to remove the valve core is like shooting a bullet. This tool is very easy to use and works GREAT! VERY QUALITY AND WELL MADE!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Compatibility

A must-have tool for tire repairers

A must-have tool for any tire mechanic. I change tires at work and it's so easy to fit them on all 4 wheels and while the air is coming out they shoot and knock off all the weights as they drain until they're flat I can take the wheel off and unbolt install the choke and a new tire.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Faulty

Poorly done with tire and wheel tools

Poor design can't leave the valve when changing a tire, once you start screwing it on let the air out - there should be more threads for it to be left in can that the valves can not be removed through the bracket and balance and back into the car, also too heavy, if you balance the wheels, the balance will be disturbed, and the position marks on the heads will be too small. great idea but needs work to be useful in the real world. use the store.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Requires a socket

Keep it simple - it's awesome

I've used them several times to deflate tires. They work quite well and are easy to use. Even ventilation is ensured by a small pin that pushes against the valve stem when you tighten the deflators. 4 things. you can easily measure the air pressure on all tires at the same time. I plugged in one, counted 15 seconds, and started the second. Continuing at around 1:30 am I was knocked out from 35psi to 20psi. Went like clockwork. Simple, no moving parts, easy to install and remove. Durable…

Works as it should, especially when you think about it.

Works as it should, especially considering similar products for Snap-on, Matco, Mac Trucks are around $40-50. Advantages: - Good quality metal - does not rust. Saves time and prevents valve core breakage - especially with older TPMS sensors. Cons: - The actual metal pusher for the valve core sticks out too far meaning you have to insert it into the valve before the valve stem threads will engage. the deflator itself. - The marker for which wheel (LF, RR, etc.) isn't as visible or drawn…

Could be better, somewhat useful

They're great for flat tyres. But that's all. I don't see much use for technicians. May be convenient for tire changers using medium lifts and located near tire changers, but impractical for dealer technicians using full lifts and located further from the tire changer. equalize After that, it cannot be reinstalled without removing the air. So the tpms location function doesn't really work (use a bold pen and label the wheel). I usually mark and remove all the wheels, align them, mount them and…

Almost Perfect - Tire Repair Tools

Very easy to use, no moving parts to break, they drain quickly and at a good price. Not much more than one can ask for. I see literally no benefit in buying expensive ones that can cost upwards of $80. Of course you can supposedly set the exact PSI value with these "nice ones" and then run away without a flat tire. But just use them and a stopwatch and it's a cinch. In 1 minute (no pun intended) my stock Tundra tires go from 35psi to 25psi. (Give or minus 1-2 PSI.) I remove all four butt plates

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Not bad but...
