Lisle 50850 Ignition Spark Tester Review

I was a bit disappointed that this item doesn't fit in the external spark plug cap that accepts a small pin. I'll probably need an adapter.

It does what it was designed to do, measure spark output. We took advantage of this immediately after getting it for my dad for Christmas. My car wouldn't start anymore, there was no spark. Boom through an ignition coil and we're back in business. :)

Not worth the money. The screw in the steering rack does not remain after setting the correct play. The post also doesn't stay perpendicular to the base, so there's no guarantee you'll check the exact spacing you need. The clamp is located directly on the part. So if you don't have enough spark plug leads, it becomes difficult to find a near ground that isn't a battery terminal. Bought this to test the spark on my motorcycle.
