Nine of the Most Popular Torx Plus Sizes for Automotive Applications. Some common Torx Plus applications include GM transmission bell housing bolts, Ford seat belt anchors and Ford pick-up bed bolts. Torx Plus drivers will not fit standard Torx fasteners. Standard Torx drivers will fit Torx Plus fasteners, but not to full torque because of the loose fit, and are not recommended. Set includes: TP-10, TP-15, TP-20, TP-25, TP-27, TP-30, TP-40, TP-45 and TP-50. Six smaller bits are 1/4" drive and three larger bits are 3/8" drive. Vinyl holder for storage included. All bits plus TP-55 and TP-60 are available individually.

Made in Taiwan: Main Bolts and Studs

The product description is incorrect. Now they are made in Taiwan. Pretty sad. I bought them because they were supposed to be made in the USA. I may have to send them back.

Only fits up to TP50

I was expecting the kit to be larger as it is a Torx Plus designed for higher torque applications. As it turned out, I should have ordered a size 55. But I've decided to keep it because I'm sure I'll need one of the sizes that come with it if I send it back.

Another high quality Lisle tool

I don't know where Lisle makes them but I think they are good quality. Used them to remove bed bolts on a 1999 F-150. They will also work with Ford pickup body bolts and seat belt bolts from many other years. While I won't be using them all that often, I'd rather spend $$ using the right tool than risk breaking a standard torx bit and/or ripping off the screw head.

Sizes are marked with measurements, but that takes work to do.

Looks like a solid Lisle instrument. The 1 bit I used fit the mating T50 Plus drain plug pretty snugly and didn't slip off. Out of the box, the measurements are clearly etched into the base of the base, but the engraving is completely covered with (probably) a protective coating, so you'll have to make an effort to remove this coating. My first thought was that they were actually used and dirty before they were sent to me, but the genuine parts were actually not worn so I figured they weren't…
