✔️ PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION - Featuring a Dyneema core and a polyester sheath, this cord will not absorb water and has almost no stretch. UHMWPE cord (also known as Dyneema or Spectra) is extremely high quality. ✔️ LIGHTWEIGHT & STRONG - With a weight of only 1.7 oz / 60 feet, is one of the lightest of its class. With a 460 lb breaking strength, this guyline is both strong and ultralight. ✔️ HIGH VISIBILITY - A bright yellow color with reflective strips built right into the cord, you can easily see this cord both during the day and in the middle of the night. No more tripping over guylines. ✔️ QUICK & EASY TENSIONERS - These guyline tensioners are lightweight, small, and extremely easy to use. They will not slip with small diameter cord unlike other adjusters. Easily adjust cord tension with one hand in seconds. ✔️ GREAT VALUE - The kit contains 60' (18.3 Meters) of reflective cord, and 10 adjustable tensioners. Perfect for a tent or tarp, or for camping, backpacking, hiking, etc.

Light and versatile

Good rope and tensioner. . The rope is VERY light and small in diameter - I was apprehensive at first but it works very well and is strong. I keep it in the truck to tie things to the bed because the stretchers make it easy. I wouldn't use it for very heavy items, but it's great for an all-purpose kit. I have also cut off smaller lengths and used them around the house.

Had some fun with this on Paracord

Used this to install a Gold Armor Rainfly Tarp Hammock, 14.7ft/12ft/10ft/8ft raincover, waterproof ultralight ripstop in the living room (stair railings and sliding doors served as an anchor boom stood next to 10 minutes with the line under the raincoat as a first line, then spent an hour chasing the grandkids and dog and the grandmother helped repack back into the dry sack - about 15 minutes next you need to take out the doors.

Very strong, light and still holds knots well.

This line is very thin and light and takes up very little space in my backpack. Although it is very thin, the outer layer allowed me to easily tie and untie any knot that I use regularly. That was more than enough to hold up the tarp in the rain and wind. There was no perceptible stretch when stretching wet clothing for 4 people across a 40 foot span, not even the Prussian knot used to apply initial tension that was held in place while the heavy wet clothing dried (and swayed/hopped) in the…

Good value for money. Both the cable and the tensioner WORK!

Bought this a few months ago because I wanted to try Dyneema line for hiking. So far both line and tensioner work great but I don't have any long term data. The leash is a bit stiff, that's why I only gave it four stars. Lately I've been using Lawson Equipment 2mm and 2.5mm line. This is by far the best fishing line I have ever used: very strong and elastic, easy to knot. Haven't tried their Dyneema main line yet - this is next. Lawson is a bit more expensive but they have great customer…

Strong but oddly stiff

Feels a bit stiff like metal wire due to tight polyester weave. I know it's supposed to be, but it makes tying knots harder than it should be. The line is highly reflective and very strong (a couple of times I've doubled it to easily extend my hammock hanger between two more distant trees), but it will probably work better with (reasonable) Lineloc hardware. One option is to buy Dutchware's Linelocs Titan hardware instead of the included Linelocs and you get a great system, super strong and…

GREAT find! Simple and easy to use!

This is amazing! Only used them up to 30mph on the beach camping in gusts of wind but they held up no problem. I used a bowline knot with a small amount of line, tied it to my tarp, and then used a long bowline with a pole to lightly tighten the tarp. Of course they can be tightened easily, but I had to find a way to loosen them. It's actually very easy to just turn them in the opposite direction (forget where I found the instructions but the manufacturer had a video). They are way better…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Insecure

I replaced all the black lines on my raincoat with this one and am very happy with it especially as it came with 10 tension as two of mine ripped on my raincoat. Very noticeable, not tangled, strong. Everything you want in a men's line. However, I also made my canvas burr line with this line and used it for the Prussik knots. It was like this all weekend. Prusik knots require a lot of rope and I quickly found that the friction and tension caused by Prusik knots wears down the line very quickly.

Ideal tent/tarp stretch

If you want to reduce the weight a bit and improve the pitch of your REI tent or other mid-range tent, this is a great solution. The 1.8mm Dyneema line is very strong and light, but unlike many of the cheaper options here at Revain, the coating stays intact when knotted and untied. It's stiffer than something like regular nylon or paracord, but Dyneema is very durable and the reflective finish really works. or your stakes) and then run the line through the tensioner and out - they are VERY easy

Super strong and REALLY reflective, that's a good material.

Purchased, was very impressed so bought another one. Won't be my last! 1. He is tough. It is advertised with a breaking load of 460 pounds and I believe it. There's a chance your tent pole will fall out or your anchor point will somehow fail before this thing breaks. Dyneema is legal.2. It's super reflective. Every time I light up the lines at night I'm always amazed at how they really stand out in the dark. I bought a very similar set of guy lines from another seller, thought they were the…
