Fits reptile enclosure with closed roof

I needed a light socket on this side that I could screw into the bottom of the reptile enclosure's PVC roof and I've had a lot of times I could couldn't find it until I came across this model. I wanted to install a Philips InstantFit T8 LED lamp in it - but of course it didn't work out; They are only designed for operation with modern electronic ballasts with instant start. So I got this light to replace my old one - and it's great except the new electronic ballast in it is (surprisingly?) fast and not compatible with this particular LED bulb. Very disappointed. But the new device is very quiet, without noise and…
