Description of Litmus paper (indicator) for testing water quality 80 pcs, test strips for measuring soil acidity, pH tester 1-14, for water analysis

Express Test allows you to find out the pH of various substances. 80 test strips. Litmus paper changes color depending on the pH value of the medium being measured. Conveniently, simply, and most importantly, cheaply, everyone can determine whether the environment is alkaline, acidic or neutral. It can be used to analyze the acidity of various liquids: - when conducting school experiments, - to measure the acidity of food products, - the acidity of the soil, - cosmetics, - urine, - other biological fluids. On the package you will find a transcript of the results obtained. Instructions for use: 1. Place the solution to be tested in the middle of the test paper and compare it with the standard color palette after half a second to obtain a PH.2 value. This test paper is not suitable for very weak buffer solutions and acidic solutions below 0.01%.3. The test paper should be stored in a dark and dry place. Specifications: The scale reads from 1 to 14:1 - 3 indicates a very acidic substance; 4 - 6 indicates an acidic substance; 7 - indicates neutrality; 8 - 11 indicates alkalinity; 12 - 14 indicates a very high level of alkalinity.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Very approximate, but you can understand what the pH level is. It is necessary to evaluate a couple of seconds after dipping into the test liquid.

Pros
  • No worse than others))
Cons
  • Perhaps someone needs an instruction in 2022, which is missing.

I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

It was necessary to determine the hardness of the water in order to add salt to the dishwasher, and for some reason, when requested, gave out this product all the time, although it does not determine hardness at all and acidity is not converted into hardness in any way. My cant of course. In general, keep in mind when buying a product - it has nothing to do with measuring stiffness.

Pros
  • Inexpensive. Lots of stripes.
Cons
  • It is quite difficult to assess the acidity of a particular medium by the color of the strip, because it is undesirable to apply wet paper to the color scheme - it will get wet, the colors will be distorted and then you will not be able to use it. And even with the closest location of the strip to the scheme, it is very difficult to unequivocally determine which color your result belongs to more. In general, the water managed to determine only the approximate range of acidity from 5 to 9. Decide how much this result suits you. It does not suit me.
