Clover 1057/NP Amour Crochet Hook, Size N/P/10.0mm with Enhanced SEO Review

Some of my Clover hooks have sizing stamped on them, but some, like this 8mm, have sizing stamped on the handle and it's almost impossible for me to read. True, my eyesight is poor, but I can read print. I don't think I'll be buying Clover hooks in the future unless I'm sure the size is printed and not embossed.

I hate this hook. I have several shamrock hooks and I really like them. I bought it for thick yarn. It doesn't run smoothly through the yarn like metal hooks. It separates the thread when you pull it through the stitch. Plastic is no better than steel. Bought based on the reviews. I also bought it as the brand's current hook was meant to cut the yarn. I have been crocheting for over 20 years and love experimenting with new yarns. I don't know which hook to buy for thick yarn.

I've been crocheting for years. Lots of stitches and lots of snaps. I've used almost every brand. As soon as I started using Amour hooks I fell in love with them straight away. They are so easy to use and the yarn slides easily over the hook. I have arthritis in both hands but now it's so bad I've stopped crocheting. With these hooks I don't feel uncomfortable in my hands and I crochet for hours. Now I have the whole set and my search for a good hook is over.

I love my amour hooks. I now have a full standard set of ten hooks (from B to J, including 7) and all available sizes of "thick" hooks shown here (7.0, K, L, M/N and N/P). . Having joint and muscle issues in my arms I cannot stress enough how much these crochet hooks are helping me. Excellent hook. Its grip is great for my bad wrists and makes crocheting faster! I hope to buy more of these in different sizes soon. I've added some photos of the project I'm working on. It's three strands in one. I should probably use a bigger hook but it works great. The yarn is a plush material for a baby blanket and is no. 6, an 8mm crochet hook is recommended (for one skein of this yarn). I find that a plastic hook is better than a metal hook because the hook slides better on the yarn.

Love this hook, this is my favorite everyday hook, the only hooks I like more are furls but they are too expensive to put in to have any size. The Clover Amour hooks, which I will have in every size, are very comfortable and don't tire my hands. I used my crochet hook on the dragon tail quilt project so I crochet 8 hours a day for a week. I have a complete set of Amour in the smaller size from 6.0mm to 2.25mm and my knitting life has improved immeasurably since this purchase. I work with both acrylic and natural fibers, although I haven't crocheted in a long time. I also have a growing collection of soft touch hooks that I use for small projects and lace projects.
