Doesn't work on e-bike

Great product but if you have to return it because it doesn't work on your bike (like my e-bike) you have to pay to get it back (not an easy process) . They give you $5 to keep it! So make sure it works on your bike!

Not suitable for TREK hybrid bike

The dog in the basket is cute. This basket seems to be just what I was looking for to take our 13 pound pup who loves to bike, however the mount is too small for the larger diameter handlebars on our Trek bikes. I emailed the manufacturer to try to resolve the issue but received no response.

Weight indication in bike racks and bags

My puppy weighs 10 pounds and when I put him down he collapsed forward and dangled unsteadily in front. I installed it properly with the side and bottom supports and it still didn't hold up. I've tried pulling out the "basket" and tying it with elastic, but that didn't work. If your dog is over 5lbs I would go for something more solid and stronger. I am extremely disappointed.

For small dogs only

The specs weigh up to 22 pounds so I weighed my mini schnauzer before purchasing this carrier. He weighs 18 kilos, the basket was enough for two bike rides! On the second ride, the metal frame holding the bottom of the carrier caved in, tearing the material, and my dog got so scared because the basket was leaning forward. It's a very good carrier, but it's only made for small pets - I wouldn't pack pets over 12-15 pounds in it. Too bad because it's pretty cute, functional and the side pocketsโ€ฆ

Bike fronts with something attached to the handlebars are not suitable; ie light etc.

Unfortunately whilst it is a quality product it will not fit the front of my or my husband's bike. Another unpleasant situation - returning the goods costs me more than $ 100. When I tried to send it back, I found that the goods came from China. It would be financially insane to spend money on an item that costs less than half the cost of returning it. So now I need to find a buyer on FBMarketplace or some other source.

High quality - best for very small dogs

Let's start with the positive. This is an incredibly high quality bag. I was surprised and impressed with the basket itself. Assembly and installation was easy, although no instructions were included. However, it is said to be suitable for dogs up to 20 pounds. Mine weighs 15 kilos. He barely made it. After we squeezed it into the basket and secured it with the seat belts, its weight became difficult to control and the basket began to sag. Then he saw a bird! Jumped straight out of the basketโ€ฆ

Manufacturing defects and need for improvement

Would probably be a great basket. Only the slot where the iron bar attaches to the bike is in the front (under the mesh cover) not the back. I also don't like that the main compartment doesn't have a mesh for my pup to see through and it doesn't have a top for her head to see through. It's only completely open at the top. I was afraid she would try to jump out. There is also another carrier where the side panels are soft and the bottom is fur for comfort. These sides are solid and there is noโ€ฆ
