Firstly it's a well made product and nicely packaged. Even includes an extra anvil and stamp. In use it does its job very well - leaves a nice clean groove (I've used it on .055" sheet metal - probably mild steel). BUT! be 'NO'. It's not easy to use. The line you're trying to follow on the sheet will be slightly obscured by the nibbler tip. So for any accuracy you should really make us a simple pattern or guide so you can press the "tip" on it. Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

I cut a hole in my wife's Kenmore dryer!

I thought that the body of the Kenmore dryer was made of fairly thick sheet metal. I thought it was a lot thicker than the max size 16 gauge lnchett nibbler. I pulled the knife out of the box to admire the workmanship. It looked very good. Installed it in my drill bit and figured I'd just bite off about 1/4 inch and see where it slots in. Trigger pulled, bit off about 1/2 inch and stopped. It wasn't loud and it wasn't difficult. So I pulled the trigger and cut a hole about 4 inches in diameter…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Warning! The blade is very sharp!

I chose this nibbler over electric tin snips mainly because I already have too many tools. I think a person can never have "too many tools". but most of all i hate the power tool which i will only use a few times a year. if this. They take up space and are at their worst when you buy a tool that has only one purpose. so true! The fact that a pair of tin snips work flawlessly and that there is only one thing that can go wrong makes me think twice about spending the extra money. replacement…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
