Requires modification for use with thick socks

Thicker socks require a slight modification. I wear the leading brand of oversized diabetic socks. It was too difficult to slip the sock through the notches of a reasonable length and I wondered if the stress on the sock fabric would end up hurting. I removed all the nicks on some of these sock locks as an experiment and they still work pretty well. I simply slide each sock into the loop about halfway down its length. Works with clothing

So far they have done their job. Socks stay in place when washed and dried. I was worried that my teeth would catch and pull on the threads, but that didn't happen. I plan to reorder them. (If it helps get my socks and underwear clean, I'm all for it.) The reason for the one star is that the outer packaging that the product came in was fine. Pros
  • dual fasteners for socks.
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Second, many of them are either SINGLE rings (which are useless to me), or both double rings (like this one) and SINGLE rings (again, don't suit me). together). The bridge that connects them is thick. (My old ones, as another reviewer
