Doubtful Best in Thread Lock

The advertised image is of a professionally packaged and sealed 36ml bottle. What has arrived is a 50ml bottle wrapped in plastic and about half full. Expiry date on the 50 ml bottle: 10/20/2022. However, no one knows when the estimated 36ml was poured into a 50ml bottle, meaning it may have been old stock. This is a problem because Loctite has a shelf life of about a year once opened.

Ideal for the AR barrel extension.

Used to fit a Proof Research barrel extension onto an AR-10. Be sure to clean the barrel nut threads before installing the nut. I also used a wooden cotton swab to pry it out of the gas tube hole and into the top. Used 33ms grease on nut. I put about 2/3 of my tongue on it and left it for a few days. Went back to final tightening and when I removed the nut it was tight with no slack.

Used to attach a front sight to a bench

I used this elbow to attach a front sight to a firearm. After taking it to the range and shooting a bit, the barrel was hot, the action was hot and the elbow (ed.), if that's the word, the scope was still perfectly welded. Also, I now have at least a few hundred (thousand?) more flies since it only cost a drop. It can be sold in 1 ounce bottles but then they don't make as much money to us.

Too strong? for screw lock

I bought Loctite 620 without having a specific application in mind. I just wanted it in my garage because I know how annoying loose bearings can be. I've only used it once so far. The backlash was so great that the bearing could only slide around the shaft by gravity. The result exceeded my expectations. The binding is so strong that if I need to replace it again I can't remove this bearing without a hammer. I was lucky enough to also purchase a Loctite bearing pin along with the 620. I will…
