Amazing and should be

Best pipe thread sealant I have ever used. Works the first time, every time and way better than teflon or pipe grease. The only complaint is that it's a bit pricey. I would use it on every screw connection if it were a little more economical.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No car

Great remedy for water leaks!

It turns out that my old house at the bottom of a steep hill has very high water pressure (approx. But before I finally found out, my DIY jobs with brass threaded plumbing fittings were always causing small leaks, that just wouldn't go away. Teflon tape doesn't work, neither do various brands of pipe grease. I finally tried the Loctite 55 pipe seal thread by following the application advice on YouTube. This stuff works, never had a leaking problem since Threaded fittings After seeing how well…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

This stuff really works.

I bought an OVE bidet from Canada that has an anti-knock valve on the wall and the threads were too long causing the valve to press against the new brass wall fitting I had installed. I couldn't grind the end down because part of the mechanism is flush with the end of the valve. I've tried two types of sealant and also teflon tape but couldn't seal it. I used a 16" pipe wrench and tightened it so much I was afraid of breaking the brass mounting screws in the wall. I finally managed to caulk it…

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Can't remember
