💪 Loctite Threadlocker 242: Strong and Reliable Bond in a 50mL Blue Bottle! Review

Blue Loctite works great, bought this bottle after running out of the last one. Has been used to put some bolts on a tractor and no problems so far (not expected at all). Love the fact that this is a bottle with a cap and a sealable spout like a water bottle. Pull the spout to drip and press the spout to close before capping.

It will hold but you can still loosen a bolt, nut or bolt. I don't know why they do this but it is BLUE Loctite even though it comes in a RED container. Blue holds bolts, nuts, screws, etc. in place, but you can still remove them with a little effort. The red version basically welds studs, nuts, screws or whatever in place forever. The only way to loosen the bolt is to melt it with heat.

That's Loctite not to love. Full disclosure, it only arrived yesterday (almost 2 weeks after purchase) and I haven't used it yet but upon inspection it turned out to be what it was supposed to be. I say that because it's from India, which I didn't realize when I hastily clicked to buy. Of course it doesn't matter, except in theory. why india? I can drive 5km and pick it up. Came in a cloth lining, in a paper envelope. Very nice, if unnecessary. No complaints, but it's Loctite. In any case, I am
