I like the convenience of this desk. I have thick thighs so it definitely doesn't fit like the stock images, but still useful. Hope my video helps.

My mother uses a wheelchair and a lift chair. Most lap tables do not fit between chair arms. This one does. It also includes their coloring books, drawing paper, pencils and crayons. When she works, the recesses will accommodate her pens and pencils, and the work surface is large enough. Even when fully loaded, it's light enough to pick up and move around.

Normally used for a few months with minor scratches on legs due to rough underside but today my 6 year old son leaned on it with his hands, he buckled and when he tried to lean it back he became seriously pinched and he tore the skin open. The hard plastic and rough underside make it not ideal for everyday use by younger children.

My son is chained to his chair most of the time as he is tube fed and loves this table. I was so happy to see him working hard with pencils and crayons. It helps not to limit his mind. It was worth the money. He has a leg that won't work properly but doesn't want me to give it back to him because he loves it. So cute with the lid you can store paper in and the sides are made for pens and crayons.

Probably the best thing I could buy my son other than a proper desk (because so many are gone thanks to the crown)! He loves to. It's much stronger than expected. I love that you can use it to access your knees and also flatten it out so you can easily use it on a desk and still have a secure place to write and store your supplies in it.
