Excellent Performance, Moderate Price

This indexable insert exceeded my expectations when it came to cutting through aluminum. When I tried it, it sliced through the metal smoothly, leaving a clean finish and no burrs. The price is reasonable, especially considering the great performance.

Better than I thought they would be!

They give a good Al finish with a rough pass followed by a slow feed finishing pass in the opposite direction. Almost mirror smooth.

Excellent wear resistance on extruded aluminum 6061

I was struggling to find cheap plates for my hobby. Thought I'd give these a try even though they are rectangular. I would be much happier if they had a radius of 0.015 to 0.030 inches. Even with right angles I was able to cut about 200 pieces of material with one corner. They lost 0.002 inches in length out of 200 pieces. I am very happy with the results. Now when I find similar inserts with a small radius, they become my main aluminum inserts. Will definitely buy again.
