I ordered this cleaner for my cast iron pan and it did a great job. After cooking my food, I pour water into the pan while it's still very hot and use this brush to clean it. I don't use dish soap and it still washes up. In addition, there is no problem pouring water into a hot still on the stove. I've tried scrapers, tried the kosher salt method, even tried post cleaners. This brush consistently cleans my cast iron skillet without removing a layer of spices.
