C920 v C925 v C930 Compatible with Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I just bought and tested the Logitech C920, C925 and C930. Webcams are primarily used for VCs for business calls and have been used for both individual and group VC calls. Key points after using all three: C920: Lowest price, good video and sound quality, 78 degree viewing angle; sharp like C925. Much wider at 90 degrees - much wider at 90 degrees - for my use this was best for VC where we have 4 people at a table - a larger angle makes a huge difference. I would recommend the C930 for group…

Poor color and blur compared to C920.

Image has poor color accuracy. Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't even supply drivers for this camera. You are stuck with generic drivers. The color matchers they give can't get rid of the pink/yellow undertones. The updated camera control software does not solve the problems of this camera in any way. Also, video encoding for the web doesn't work as well on the simpler C920 model. I can see how the image appears online, it's quite blurry compared to the C920. It only looks sharp on my monitor NOT

Pros
  • UVC H.264 encoding: Frees up system bandwidth and ensures a smoother video stream through in-camera video processing; Optional camera setup application for pan/tilt/zoom control
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

This is an absolutely amazing webcam. I do online training. I record a headshot video for the intro and then a picture-in-picture over the screenshot. My laptop's webcam was so slow it couldn't be used. I tried using my Sony a6000 but fiddling around, positioning etc was a hassle. With this Logitech webcam, I can set it up and then zoom and pan as needed to get right into the frame. Setting up OBS Studio is very easy. I've also used it with Adobe Premiere Elements. OBS Studio is very easy and…

Supposed to support USB 3.0. That's what it says on the box! I can't get this camera or any other Logitech camera to work on my MS Surface Pro 3. What is the problem with these cameras or what am I doing wrong? The software is installed, Device Manager recognizes it but cannot retrieve it. that I get this stupid error when I try to troubleshoot. Great webcam! It's much better than the built-in/embedded webcam.

This webcam is better than the built in laptop webcam. Before purchasing this webcam, I carefully checked the video quality of this webcam and found that it is the favorite webcam of many vloggers and gamers. Full HD and wide angle. The viewing angle is much wider than the laptop's built-in/built-in webcam, and the video quality is much higher than the laptop's built-in webcam. Okay, just to be clear, this is a decent laptop. This is the Lenovo Legion Y520. Now the next best part... the webcam…
