Unreliable in audio and video accessories

Bought because of YouTube reviews but got it and the tilt didn't work, it panned and zoomed but didn't tilt. updated the firmware, but not changed. Back for a new one. Got this one, tilt worked, zoom worked but panning right to left was the opposite of the remote. Updated the firmware again, but no change. So, two are bought, two have problems. Also, the remote control DOES NOT WORK when you are next to or behind the camera. Only the front works. Not recommended

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great conference room upgrade

I was looking for a major webcam upgrade for our small conference room. Decided to use this Logitech PTZ Pro without the microphone and other accessories. I'm glad I did. I just bought a Jabra Speak 510 for audio that connects to our desk via Bluetooth and it was a lot cheaper and easier than managing all the cables with a Logitech kit. but we won't move it that much. Image quality, auto iris, auto white balance and autofocus are excellent. It looks professional and was certainly expensive, but

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises

I needed an inexpensive USB PTZ solution and found it. LOGITECH PTZ Pro is great. I work with professional video conferencing systems from Lifesize, Polycom, Cisco, so I know what the best PTZ cameras are capable of. Other than that, I'm happy with this inexpensive, professional-looking camera. It's not perfect, but it's beautiful. There are 3 presets and they aren't as reliable as the Lifesize Camera 10X, but they work. As far as far end control goes, nobody uses that crap in a live callโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Grainy video when not zoomed in

At this price point the picture quality is quite grainy. I use it in class when the speaker is only 5 feet away from me. Unless I get really close to the speaker's head, I don't get a clear picture of their face. The remote control is a bit touchy and the chord situation gets out of hand (the 3 longest and most annoying chords to take away). I like that it can pan and zoom. But I've paid for better quality tiny webcams.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It's ok but for $750 I'd expect a better one

I use this camera instead of a webcam. There's a big board behind me, so I use the presets to zoom in on different parts of the board. During a presentation I can just jump to the next section and press the next preset on the remote and the camera will focus on the right side of the whiteboard. For that it works quite well. Almost all of my complaints boil down to the fact that it's impossible to configure. Of course you can use the remote to change the look, but suppose you want to change theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Like all so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

A revolution in my live studio

A revolution in my live studio. I was broadcasting a weekly 2 hour web show and needed a camera that would provide a clear image at 10 feet away, not get confused in rapidly changing light conditions, not overheat and not turn off during transmission. This camera passed with flying colours. I tried controlling this camera with the optional Logitech Camera Settings app, as well as two other lower-end Logitech webcams. On my 15" MacBook Pro with OBS (Open Broadcast Software) the app crashedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • updates available
