Relative unreliability. Everything is complicated here - for the first 4 years the mouse worked perfectly (not counting the removal of the brain according to point 1), which created the illusion that it would work forever. Somewhere in the third or fourth year of life, something was covered in the button for pressing the wheel - well, as it was covered, everything works (disassembly shows that all the elements are working separately), but only with certain features (i. E. you need to press the wheel at the right angle, which is inconvenient to do, or just poke many times until you accidentally hit - as a result, over time, you simply stop using this function, if possible). In the sixth year of life, the first double clicks of the left button went, in the seventh year they intensified, but you can still work. Also in the sixth year, the first "dumps" of batteries went: they somehow lose contact, physically shifting inside the case - you have to shake the mouse and flip the switch, usually this helps the first time.
