It's been over five, maybe even seven years since I first got one of these keyboards, and I honestly can't remember when I first purchased it. I use it almost every day. It was entirely my fault that the previous one passed away, so I went out and purchased a replacement a few years back. This week, I went out and purchased a third copy of the book—this time, for a woman.
I currently work as a screenwriter, so I put a lot of words on paper. The keyboard functions without a hitch. Full-size, with a nice palm rest, silent and pleasant pressing, tactile notches on the F/A and J/O keys for touch typing, easy buttons for calling up the calculator and controlling the volume, as well as additional helpful settings accessible through the Function button.
The keyboard has a straightforward and uncluttered appearance; it is a gorgeous and sophisticated piece of hardware that, when placed in an equally straightforward and uncluttered setting, will appear quite hip and trendy. Both automatically (the sensor finds the ideal settings based on the light in the room) and manually (the user presses a button to override the sensor's recommendations) the backlight adjusts in response to the presentation of hands. The wireless connection enables you to watch TV shows from the comfort of your couch by allowing you to switch episodes, voice tracks, and subtitles. If you are familiar with the hotkeys of your operating system and applications, you also have access to a wide variety of additional options. It is important to point out that the keyboard has a universal receiver, which allows you to connect a suitable wireless mouse to it. If you do this, working from the couch will not require you to memorize any hotkeys at all. And it does all of this while maintaining a lengthy battery life.
Separately, I want to make mention of the off button. There are two cats in the house, and both of them consider my workplace (including myself) to be their property. Because of this, the off button helps protect you from accidental paw touches and allows you to give your pet the necessary attention it requires.
Despite the fact that the cost is very prohibitive, the keyboard performs admirably and is well worth the investment even now.
