Great for better lighting

I use these LED bulbs in my RV to reduce my electricity consumption. They appear to be of good quality. more light than regular incandescent bulbs with the added benefit of not getting hot (the lights are above the bed and used for reading). The supplier sent the USPS quickly and the goods were well packed to avoid damage. I hope they last long enough to recoup the investment.

Pros
  • RV Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good fit, quality light, low power consumption

I bought LED lights from four different manufacturers for my motorhome. Some emit a pleasing white light, while others emit a very yellow light that is incorrectly described as "warm." These Green LongLife LED bulbs produce a very pure white light and are very bright - as bright as the tungsten bulbs they replaced. They are longer than tungsten lamps by about 3/8 inch, but still short enough not to overhang the lampshade. Using the 1/10th watt tungsten they replaced was my main goal, but it's…

Great while they last, disappointed with early failure

Nice bright white light for the reading lights in our RV. The accumulation of "fish eggs" extends beyond the shells of our lamps, so I have to position the lamp and head so that they don't capture very bright glare with peripheral vision. Your mileage may vary. My only real complaint is that one of the two bulbs has started to flicker after only a couple of seasons of modest use. I like the reduced power consumption and low operating temperature, but these bulbs are too expensive to be short…

Great lights, more than enough light for a reading lamp

I bought two of these to replace the reading lamps on our 1977 Airstream Tradewind. In fact, I'm not trying so much to save energy as I would like to reduce the heat generated by these two lamps (i.e. the original lamps). The original bulbs got so hot almost immediately after turning them on that we didn't want to use them. These lights fit perfectly and while they don't look as good as the originals, they do the job and solve my problem. In my opinion this is a 5 star lamp. I got these bulbs a

DON'T BUY THIS: They all fail. EDIT: All failed.

Don't make the same mistake I made when I bought them. I bought 5 because I thought they would be perfect for lighting my RV. The bulbs are slightly larger than the original bulbs, but they fit. The light they emit is pretty hard on the eyes. The real problem is that the individual LEDs (on each bulb) are now failing at an alarming rate. First it was one, then two, and then more and more until the number of good LEDs gave a lot of light. This has happened with EVERY lightbulb. My attempt to…

Bright light - Low heat - Longer life - More expensive than incandescent

Like some other reviewers, I bought these LED replacement bulbs for reading lights in my recreational car. My coach is a 2011 Itasca Class A motorhome from Winnebago. This year, the motorhome manufacturer had not installed any LED lighting in these models. I have already replaced 921 bulbs with LEDs in all my other lights. The result for me was better lighting with a lot less power and heat. My reading lights were the last to have the LEDs replaced, mainly because my 13-watt 1383 bulbs hadn't…
