The stepper motors were carefully packed in a larger than usual high quality protective box. All boards were packaged in a single anti-static bag for protection. on circuit boards. I did not receive any connecting wires as some other buyers have reported. There was a color code card for resistors. All in all it was good value for money.

Cooler motor longruner gear motor and driver board were well packed in storage box. This package includes 5 geared stepper motors and 5 driver boards. This is a great starter kit if you want to do projects with Arduino. The motors are very durable, but after prolonged continuous operation for a period of time, the motor will heat up and the gearbox will give out low speed but high torque.

I did not receive a gift from the buyer in the form of jumpers and a plastic case for stepper motors and ULN2003 boards, like other reviewers. My parts were packed in plastic bags. More importantly, after straightening out some bent tabs and pins, I checked everything and all 5 sets of motors and driver boards worked fine. The price is good and the shipping was very fast, but I just don't feel appreciated (laughs).

I should have read the specs and figured out what I need, not this impulse buy. The product is not misleading and has been requested. the fault is on my side. I have tested them to make sure they work and there are no product defects, but only in relation to their use. They don't work for what I wanted to use them for. One day I'll find something for them, but right now they're sitting there looking at me and mocking me for doing the research wrong. so they paid themselves as a reminder.

I used these stepper motors to drive an automated 3-axis camera track using an Arduino Uno controller and a motor hat. If you're new to Arduinos (like me) you'll love them. First of all, the best components have two characteristics: a) intuitive, simple and easy to use, and b) no tragedy when the magic smoke disappears. Burn something precious. I'm not judging them for serious work - just saying - this is a great choice for your first or second Arduino. Some "pro" tips: 0.2038 steps per revolution, top speed 18 (RPM). 5VConnect to an external power supply - do not disconnect Vcc/Vin from your Arduino!

Two of the five stepper motors had dead orange-pink coils. The other three are currently working, but two more are drawing quite a lot of current, so I expect they will fail soon. I wouldn't recommend them unless you understand that the bounce rate will be significant. I still need small stepper motors for a project and Nema 8 doesn't have the torque needed. These little steppers work great. You can easily convert them to bipolar mode by removing the blue cover and cutting the center trace of the PCB. I needed small powerful bipolar steppers for a robot project I am building with my daughter for school and they fit all the needs perfectly with a little modification. I got lucky with this particular motor kit. That's pretty much all you need to get started quickly. First I would like to say that I am impressed with the packaging. After so much detail could barely fit in a cheap plastic bag, it was like a breath of fresh air. Some thought and care went into it.
