With 3 grades of hardness ideal for essential drawing, these compressed charcoals are ideal for sketching and drawing for artists of all levels. Square sticks of non-toxic compressed pure black charcoal produce a velvety surface. Very fine grit-free consistency for smooth and easy drawing and blending. Use the flat edge for broad strokes, or sand the stick to a fine point for detailed work. Create bold lines, or use a tortillion to smudge and blend. Charcoal sticks may be used as they are, or you may break them into smaller pieces for your convenience. Compressed charcoal blister of 6 contains: 2 x soft, 2 x medium and 2 x hard.
