That's a great hair color! I've been coloring my hair for over 20 years. Most of the time I used L'Oreal. But I just tried this new Excellence Age. Excellent! The color is right. So you don't have to buy a lighter color to even out the shade you want. It's easy to use. I used a brush. Gray. So I would recommend it to anyone who wants an affordable good hair color.

I've been using this product for many years and it works great. Easy to use and has a nice color - not brassy and not quite solid. Looks natural. I cut my hair in different places - all private local places - and each time the stylist comments on how the color looks. They never offer to paint it. So I went from $50 per color and spending a lot of time in the salon to $8.99 and spending some time at home.

This product works very well IF you have 70 percent gray or more. Unless you're mostly gray, it will be darker than you want and you'll miss the multicolor effect. Great product. Covered my gray well without turning my hair brassy (I have some natural red that lends itself to copper coloring, which it doesn't at all) and didn't feel too dry. I'd recommend giving your hair a good deep conditioner about a day before coloring it, but compared to most brands I've tried, L'Oreal's color doesn't dry out that much.
