Already dead on arrival. on Sport

They sent me two of these, both with the same batch number and date, and both were dead on arrival. I ordered another brand, the problem is Fixed. Don't waste your time here.

Make sure your old controller is the problem

The controller wasn't my fault point For me it was actually the batteries. I thought the engine was supposed to start when the throttle is twisted, but it apparently needs a nudge to start for safety reasons. The old controller actually works perfectly, so I sent a replacement back. Timely delivery and the controller worked.

Almost right on skates, skateboards and scooters

Said it was for my scooter. When it arrived I saw that there were no mounting screw holes. Not a big deal as it still fits snugly. I went to install and found that one of the connectors was wrong. It was for the brake switch. I cut off the old one and put it on the new one. Works well, just a little more effort. Easy fix if you have the connectors and tools.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Great price

Not like the photo

The brake modulator connector was completely different and the attachment points did not match the e100 scooter. I soldered the connector from the old controller and the device does not work. I should have sent it back but now that I've changed it I wouldn't even try. It's a good idea to check the connections before installing to make sure it's the right controller before you make the same mistake I did. Maybe we just have an older version of the scooter

It worked just like the original I thought failed.

Unfortunately our Razor PowerCore E100 Scooter didn't even last 5 months before it died. Our 5 year old was devastated. Since this scooter has a "soft start" feature, tests showed the batteries were NOT being charged and the relay in the box was buzzing and not clicking (when it was actually working) I mistakenly assumed it was dead or dying was. took this whole dumb scooter apart to diagnose this problem. While both batteries together had an open circuit voltage of 24V, it dropped below the…

Went like clockwork!

I bought a Razor E100 from Walmart and a few months after I bought it the scooter stopped working. The Power LED lights up, but the wheel is not receiving power. Still under warranty I ended up contacting Razor, where support blindly sent replacement batteries as a suspected problem. The Razor lid was open (a few top screws) and battery performance was as expected (about 27 volts) for two 12 volt batteries connected in series. The problem seemed to boil down to a few remaining parts - the…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Periodicity
