Dust in the lamp compartment can be removed easily and gently with a small, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner before installing a new lamp. Installation took 5 minutes. works well.

I bought some replacement lamps for this particular model of Acer projector and these are as good as the original if not a little brighter. I've got a few hundred hours on this bulb so longevity seems good so far. A touch more expensive than other bulbs/bulbs but definitely worth it given the brightness and clarity. Pretty easy to install too; definitely recommended.

This is the second lightbulb I have had to replace in this projector, the first was from a different brand and seller and it only lasted about 3 months so before it blew out I hope this lasts longer! I will update this review when it finally burns out. I am happy with the lamp as long as it comes with the housing so the replacement was very easy, just remove the projector cover, unscrew the 1 screw holding the lamp housing and unplug the power cord. Lamp worked great initially but bulb burned out in less than 6 months as another reviewer said. I ordered mine on November 16, 2018 and she has already died. Didn't warn either. It worked fine and then just shut off, apparently overheating. While I'm grateful the bulb didn't explode like the original bulb, it didn't last 2500 hours. I have a warranty period. Delivered on December 10th. The installation was easy and the Acer projector recognized it without any problems. At the moment, the brightness and color rendering of this lamp are the same as the original lamp that came with the Acer H6510BD projector. I use it a few hours a week sometimes, about 4 to 6 hours a week. Lifetime is estimated at 2500 hours. However, I see a warning that this bulb needs to be replaced starting April 15th.
