🐆 5-Foot Metal Flexible Hose for Cheetah and Cougar Ash Vacuums Review

We needed a replacement for our current 5ft flexible metal hose for our Cheetah Cougar Ash vacuum cleaner. I was happy to find one on Amazon.

In the past I've bought replacement hoses for my ash vacuum that didn't last long and didn't feel flexible. Not in this case, because it is very well made.

Ideal for replacing a broken hose on a Dustless Technologies Cheetah 2 Ash Vac. The original hose was all metal and could handle hot ash. This one has more plastic so I don't suck on coals with it. Otherwise it's great.

You're probably buying this because like me you burned the original in about 2 weeks of receiving the vacuum cleaner. Well I think we all made the same mistake, it might take a lot of heat but not that much heat. This is the same as the original. Now I don't use heat resistant gloves when vacuuming. This way you will stop when the cable gets too hot and thus save the life of this device.

My original hose broke as the vacuum cleaner testers predicted. However, I love the vacuum cleaner, so I had to buy one. It is exactly the same as the one that came with the vacuum cleaner. I will try to take it off and hang it on the hook carefully between uses so it lasts longer. My theory is that the original didn't break because of use, but because it couldn't handle the torque of the handle or the impact at the point where it connects to the vacuum.
